What I Wore in Greece

Mamma Mia! Here Will and I go again! Will and I spent an amazing couple of weeks in Greece soaking up all the culture and so many different islands. If you want to see what we got up to on our trip check out my YouTube video, but if you’re interested in the outfits, this is the place for you! I spent weeks picking out the most aesthetic and ideal outfits possible. From Santorini to Mykonos, I was dressed to impress, and I’ve rounded up all my outfits here so you can shop my closet.

Athens

I wore this outfit while we were sightseeing in Athens, and let me tell you, it was perfect for every activity we did! While we did a lot of walking, the dress was super lightweight and great for photos (the bright yellows and pinks on it really popped!). My biggest recommendation if you’re visiting Greece is to wear sneakers! There are so many uneven streets and staircases (Will even fell down a couple), so these sneakers were perfect for being sensible and looking cute.

Can we just take a minute to appreciate how adorable this romper is?! While shopping for Greece, I knew I wanted blues and whites to match the architecture, and this was exactly what I was looking for. This was an outfit that I truly felt embodied Mamma Mia, which is why I wore it for our travel day on the ferry. I was channeling my Donna energy when she’s on Bill’s boat. This is another ideal outfit for warm summer days as it wasn’t heavy and allowed me to move around while still looking fashionable.

We started and ended our trip in Athens, so this was the final dress I got to wear in Greece. From the cut of the dress to the armband, I felt like I was embodying a pink Greek Goddess in this look! I wasn’t quite sure I was going to love the ombre effect of the dress, but as soon as I put it on I fell in love with it. Putting this on for our last night in Greece made it super special as we had a yummy dinner and got to say goodbye to all our new friends on the trip.

Santorini

Can we take a moment for the dress because she deserves it! When I saw this dress I literally gasped out loud and knew it was a must-have for the trip. From the Barbie Pink color to the adorable flowers on the front, I received so many compliments on this dress, and I felt so confident in it. Once again, because the streets were so uneven, I wanted to avoid heels at all cost. These sandals with a pearl buckle were perfect for the fancier nights out, and I loved how they matched my pearl purse that night!

Can we have a moment for how ADORABLE this swimsuit is?! From the floral pattern to the bow tied around the waist, this is seriously my ideal swimsuit that I will be wearing all summer. The Greece sun was no joke, so I am glad I packed my sunglasses and sun hat while lying out by the pool. When I put on my big floppy hat, I felt like Anne Hathaway in the Princess Diaries when she’s hiding her new hairstyle because it looked like I was hiding all my hair but it helped keep it off my back and keep me cool!

This was probably one of my favorite outfits of the entire trip. Everything about this dress is literal perfection, and I felt like a princess walking through the streets of Greece. One of the things I did throughout most of my outfits was include small beachy details like this seashell necklace to match the vibe of our vacation. I wanted to fully embrace where we were and make the most of the short time we had on each island. I loved the wine tasting we got to go to and all the amazing sightseeing that we got to experience that night!

Paros

I truly think there is no better feeling in the world than lounging on a boat in Greece while wearing a pink swimsuit. This was definitely one of the most memorable moments of the trip, and I felt like Sharpay Evans laying out in the sun and feeling like a queen. While it almost blew away a couple times, I was once again so grateful to have a hat to keep the sun out of my eyes and keep my skin protected. This was a day full of amazing memories with our new friends that I will cherish forever!

Mykonos

Sorry, the old Lauren can’t come to the phone right now. Why? Because she’s channeling her inner Meredith Blake from The Parent Trap. I have had this swimsuit for years, and it is still one of my favorite things I’ve ever purchased. I love the big bow on the front and the black and white coloring makes it look SO fancy. Being able to lounge by the pool and soak up some sun felt ever more amazing because I felt so confident in how I looked. Plus, there were kitties running all around which makes any day better!

As the end of our trip was approaching, we knew we wanted to spend as much time on the beach as possible. While the water was freezing, it felt great to tan in our sunchairs and listen to the water crash on the show. I was obsessed with this white swimsuit because of the cool wrap detail the bottoms had because I felt like it doubled as a coverup. Moreover, the look was perfect for when Will and I found a rock near the shore that looked like we were Ariel in The Little Mermaid.

This is genuinely one of the most gorgeous dresses I have ever worn in my life. The crochet detailing is beautiful and the flowers that cover the entire front make the look feel so tropical and beachy. I wore this out for one of our last dinners and it was perfect for exploring the town before because it was lightweight and didn’t drag on the floor. This was another one of my favorite outfits as I felt like it also captured the essence of Greece.

Whether you’re visiting Greece or just looking for some amazing outfits to wear this summer, I hope this blog helped you find something that you will absolutely LOVE wearing. If you’re interested in even more of what I’m wearing, check out my LTK or Amazon Storefront for more!
